EBS R12 Certified with Database 11gR2 on SLES 11

Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12

is now certified with the Oracle Database
11gR2 on
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 11 running
on the database tier for the following
platforms and versions:

Release 12 (12.0.4 and higher,
12.1.1 and higher) with Database versions
11.2.0.2 and 11.2.0.3:

• Linux

  x86-64 (SLES
  11)

Release 12 (12.0.4 and higher, 12.1.2
and higher) with Database version 11.2.0.2:

• IBM:
  Linux on
  System z (SLES
  11)

The certification of
R12 with 11.2.0.3 on IBM: Linux on System z
(including SLES 11) is in progress.

These certifications
cover the above 64-bit operating systems.  There are
no plans to certify 32-bit SLES 11 (Linux
x86).

Database Tier Only

These certifications cover only the E-Business Suite database tier.  The application tier
of the E-Business Suite is not certified
with SLES 11.  Customers must run the application tier on a
different certified operating system (such as SLES 10). If you plan to use SLES 11 for
an EBS application tier server, please
contact me to discuss your business case.
