Yesterday (28th October) Oracle, Enkitec and Method-R hosted an Oracle Database 11g Release 2 event in the recently opened Dallas Cowboy's Stadium in Texas. I've visited a few stadiums over the years, but this one is the most impressive I've seen yet. Not too surprisingly, the event was a sellout and I was delighted to be able to participate in such a wonderful setting (the post-game conference room no less).
OpenWorld is right around the corner and I look forward to seeing several of my friends, who are regulars at this conference. I also look forward to learning more about Fusion Middleware 11g, especially the new features to be included in future releases. And, I am told that Larry Ellison's keynote is not to be missed (wink, wink)!
Join us in Denver, Los Angeles and New Jersey

This year IOUG Collaborate 09 will be held in Orlando, Florida. This conference is one of the three conferences I go to in the States. ODTUG Kaleidoscope is more towards developers, Oracle Open World is more about the latest and greatest of Oracle, where IOUG Collaborate is a bit a mixture of all Oracle technolgies and applications.
There are about 10 APEX Sessions, which allows me to watch some other things as well.

So I have started my own blog. Been thinking about doing it for a long time now, and have procrastinated it even longer (now that can't be, can it?).
