Good post by Werner De Gruyter on differences between Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control and 11g Grid Control:

For those who have already played with EM11g, you will have noticed that there are quite a few differences in the OMS tech stack between 10g and 11g...
To give you all a quickstart on EM11g, here are the key differences you will see:
Did you know that the latest release of Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g features new capabilities for managing Oracle Database 11g Release 2 and Oracle Exadata V2. These new enhancements were developed and built to help administrators focus on managing their database environments more efficiently and with less manual effort.
In addition to all the rich capabilities including; performance tuning, configuration and change management, provisioning, patching, data masking, and testing--Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g also introduced new support for:
On 24th August, I spoke as one of the two Oracle speakers in the Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Forum, a large event held at St. Regis hotel, Singapore. My co-speaker was Peter Yu. We introduced a lot of people to the new capabilities of Enterprise Manager 11g, such as the Sun Ops Center, Business Transaction management, and Real User Experience Insight (RUEI). The attendees were astonished as to what is possible in Enterprise Manager today. Here are a few photos of the event.
Friends, a new article I wrote on the Data Masking Pack of Enterprise Manager Grid Control has been published on August 2010 on the Oracle Technology Network. This is the article:

Comments from Sandesh Rao, Director, RAC Assurance team, Oracle on my new book on Grid Control:
Sandesh Rao said: "looking forward to it , would be interesting if you cover cases for upgrades for different versions of EM and would you be covering the recent 11.1 which was released as it changes with the installation procedure and having the Weblogic tier and db pre-ready before the install and other experiences of people with 10's of thousands of targets and what their upgrade experiences have been."
I replied:
Webinar was a success - about 143 people dialled in. Thanks guys.
Regards,
Porus.

Just noticed this article by Rob Zoeteweij written this month (July 2010) which gives a good idea of the Intergration of Grid Control 11g with My Oracle Support:
Mark Ramsay, Database Administrator at Sainsburys has posted
EM11g install steps at the following address:

Good work by Mark. Please have a look.
Here are a couple of things to do and/or think about when doing a new EM 11g rollout:
With the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa almost a week underway, the soccer fans all around the World are talking about at least 2 things. That typical vuvuzela sound and the new Jabulani ball, saying it moves unpredictably, is difficult to handle and somehow the altitude of the World Cup stadiums also seem to be a contributing factor.
I am happy to announce that I have rejoined Oracle, in the Enterprise Technology team, focussing on Oracle Enterprise Manager.
My ACE status has also changed from an Oracle ACE Director, to an Oracle Employee ACE.
I look forward to working more closely on Oracle Enterprise Manager from now on.
In Oracle Database 11g Release 2, which is the latest version of the database used in Oracle Exadata Version 2, RAC install and management is vastly simplified especially if you are using Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Grid Control.
The most comprehensive corporate management and monitoring solution is officially out - Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g. It just gets better and better.

Update 5/3/2010: Per Oracle Enterprise Manager Release Management, the 11g Solaris port will be available again shortly.

Solaris release of Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g is now available. You may download it from OTN. It will be available from eDelivery shortly as well.

Oracle launched a product called Enterprise Manager 11g with great fanfare Thursday, and for good reason. The system management software platform is key to its goal of being a true one-stop IT shop for customers, now that it has entered the hardware business by acquiring Sun Microsystems.
"It's about trying to finally get control of this complex thing called IT. We're just getting to the point in the industry and in Oracle's strategy where that's now possible," Oracle President Charles Phillips said Thursday during an event in New York, which was webcast.
We hope that you enjoyed the launch event. If you missed it, you may still watch it via our on demand webcast, which is being produced and will be posted very shortly.
11gR1 is a major release of Oracle Enterprise Manager, and as one would expect from a big release, there are many new capabilities that appeal to a broad set of audience. Before going into the laundry list of new features, let's talk about the key themes for this release to put things in perspective.
