that I should clarify here in the blog.

that there is simple way to get started?The first steps toward an Oracle
DBA certification is a non-proctored foundational SQL test.
For the first time, Oracle is introducing all-inclusive Java and Oracle Solaris Certification Value Packages
which can save you up to 20% and includes a free retake - just in case
you don't pass on your first try.
Each package includes:
Effective October 1, 2010, the "SOA Foundations" exam (1Z0-114) will be retired.
Exam 1Z0-114 is a single exam required to earn the Oracle SOA Architect Certified Expert (OCE) certification. The exam will remain available for registration and testing at Pearson VUE Testing Centers through September 30, 2010.

Effective August 1, 2010, Exam CX-310-400 ("Sun Certified
Integrator for Identity Manager 7.1"), currently part of the "Sun Certified Integrator for Identity
Manager 7.1" certification track, will be retired.
Just a quick note to let you know that in the interest
of keeping the most useful content available here on the Oracle
Certification Blog, we do moderate the comments. We welcome (and
encourage dialog, questions, comments, etc) here on the topics at hand.
