Effective September 1, Sun certifications have been republished and re-branded under the Oracle certification program.

On September 1, 2010, the Sun Certification program
will be integrated with the Oracle Certification program. All Java,
Oracle Solaris, MySQL, Oracle Solaris Cluster and Open Office
certifications will be re-published under the Oracle Certification
program with their new Oracle Certification titles.
Oracle Mix is inviting you to put together a short video convincing your peers why you should get a FREE conference pass to Oracle OpenWorld, JavaOne or Oracle Develop. Oracle Mix community members will vote and pick the top five finalists in each category: Oracle OpenWorld, JavaOne, and Oracle Develop. Then a panel of Oracle judges will pick one winner from each category to receive a full conference pass to that event.
More than 200 proposals were submitted on Oracle Mix for Suggest A Session. At the end of the 2 week voting, 41 sessions have been selected by Oracle OpenWorld content management team for presentation.

Effective October 1, 2010, the "SOA Foundations" exam (1Z0-114) will be retired.
Exam 1Z0-114 is a single exam required to earn the Oracle SOA Architect Certified Expert (OCE) certification. The exam will remain available for registration and testing at Pearson VUE Testing Centers through September 30, 2010.
Voting for session proposals for Oracle OpenWorld 2010 on Oracle Mix is in full swing with just 3 days to go for polls to end.

Integrator for Identity Manager 7.1"), currently part of the "Sun Certified Integrator for Identity
Manager 7.1" certification track, will be retired.
